Monday May 13 – Thursday May 16 2 Day Deepwater ExpoloratoryCapt Steven Jr reports an overall good trip on the Viking Starship. Day one we had rough conditions that kept us from taking the long ride to start. We managed to find a few nice Barrels, only a couple of Tiles and some Hake. Over night we steamed until the sun came up and had much calmer seas. Day 2 we still had tough wind against tide issues, but we put a good day together. Some guys had a great day while others struggled. We had a decent shot of Tiles and Hake but the Barrel Fish were the highlight of the day. Just about everyone had at least one and high hook had 5 Barrels. Honorable mention to the hand crank guys in the bow who fished hard and put a great catch together. Dwayne, Geff and Sergio combined had 30 Tiles, 32 Hake and 4 Barrels. Geff Morse also took the first place pool with a 30 lb Tile! Second place Tile was taken by Peter Wang with a 25 lb Tile and the largest edible pool went to Brian Martin with an 18 lb...
